From the perfect paint colors to the coordinating floor boards, hues in the rugs, the hand selected furniture pieces, and wall décor, every room we design is carefully curated to fit our clients’ needs. It is mulled over and thought about thoroughly. We sample and peruse thousands of options to find the perfect key. Nothing is left behind. From the big furniture goods to the tiniest nail trim or buttons on a sofa, every single detail in the design matters. If it didn’t, the room wouldn’t be complete or unique to the client’s tastes.
That is why interior design is sometimes a long process – a lot longer than can be expected. For your beautifully crafted kitchen or bathroom, pieces can be moving for months or years. Good, quality design takes time. And for years in this industry the lead time on custom furniture pieces ranged from 6-10 weeks, depending on the level of difficulty to manufacture a piece, fabric selections and travel accommodations.
But, with recent changes, we have seen a huge improvement in manufacturers aiming to minimize their lead time on some products. Many design companies have started to incorporate a program called Quick Ship into their philosophy where they provide the same quality furniture on a more accessible scale. Instead of crafting hand selected pieces and buying through a design firm like us at Ciao, the Quick Ship program gives you access to view some designer home furnishings on your own. Within this program there are dining room tables and chairs, sofas and beds, and accessories that ship directly to you. The Quick Ship program is designed to help you build your own dream space if going to a firm is out of the budget.
